Designer and founder Amahlia Stevens grew up swimming in the ocean near her home in Southern California, a love of nature in her DNA. In 2000 she launched Vitamin A, a swimwear line rooted in female empowerment and the idea that sexy meant feeling healthy and confident.
As the brand grew, Amahlia set out to reduce its eco-footprint. She spent three years developing EcoLux™, the first premium swim fabric made from recycled nylon fibers. With a fit like a seamless second skin, it was a hit with customers and became a permanent part of our collection. From there, Vitamin A’s passion for protecting the earth—and respecting its inhabitants—has grown to touch every aspect of our business.
At VITAMIN A, we create beautiful designs with flawless fits that inspire women to feel confident and sexy. And we do it with a dedicated commitment to the environment. Because we believe that in today’s world, style and sustainability must go hand in hand. So we put eco-consciousness at the heart of everything we do, from fabric innovation and manufacturing to packaging and partnerships. We aim not only to reduce our impact but also use our voice to raise awareness and generate change. And we invite you to join us.
